You still have to able to talk for the Olympics though, take zero and lead an entertaining conversation for 15mins or so, but anyone with half a life and a reasonable sense of humour should be able to do that. It’s the ‘assume friendship’ style of conversation, that is speak as you would to one of your friends and let things flow in the same way.
Day time opening has enormous punch, it screams confidence, and like I said earlier it’s more black & white: you’ll know before you even finish your opener as the smile of surprise spreads across her face exactly how it’s going to go! Also who really wants to say they met their partner in a bar? How many romantic comedies have the man and woman meet in a deafening club sharing shooters? It gives her that ‘story’ to tell her friends, her very own ‘Sex & the City’ moment.
Cons:
Unlike night game where you can turn round a bad initial reception there’s no such negotiation in day game. If it goes bad on opening it’s never going to get any better and will be over in seconds. Also realise if you approach without an invitation such as eye contact it can take a moment or two for the woman to get up to speed and process what’s just been said to her – just like if you suddenly get interrupted. Sometimes just as a knee jerk reaction to something unfamiliar you’ll be immediately blown-out. However, even the worst of day game blow outs are politer and better than what can occur in night game! Don’t persist, apologise and remove yourself – in the opposite direction to she’s going. You don’t want thrown out of a shop of mall so don’t pester.
