Apparently you don’t just turn up to a date unarmed. The savvy and experienced dater has a plan. A detailed plan.

I had nothing.

15 minutes later I’d at least given some limited thought to all the questions Take2 threw at me. I felt as ready as I’d ever be.

It was time.
